Research Designed specializes in marketing and advertising for clinical trial sites, site networks, clinical research organizations (CROs), and biotech companies. Aiming to fill the various needs of these vastly different entities, we offer services focusing on two major areas: patient-centered marketing and industry-focused marketing.

Christine Senn
Founder and Chief Strategist
Christine Senn, PhD is the Founder and Chief Strategist at Research Designed, as well as Chief Integration Officer at Centricity Research, a multi-specialty multi-country integrated research organization (IRO). Dr. Senn holds her PhD in Psychology and has Masters degrees in both Clinical Psychology and in Advertising and Public Relations. She worked primarily in public relations and communications prior to entering the clinical trial industry. Her desire to reconnect with her marketing background and her love for the clinical trials industry led her to create Research Designed as a niche marketing company specializing in clinical trial sites and networks. She double-certified by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and currently serves as ACRP’s 2023 Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Kayra Velez
Senior Digital Communications Specialist
Kayra developed a love for digital marketing after managing her first Facebook business account in 2012. Since that time, she has helped build successful online presences for various companies across multiple industries in both the public and private sectors. Driven by the passion to help organizations put their best digital face forward, Kayra specialized in various areas from social media, email, and copywriting, to SEO and brand conceptualization & strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, and Hubspot certifications in Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, SEO, and Growth Driven Design.
Amy Sloan
Advertising & Design Manager
Amy has been marketing for the clinical trial industry since 2018, providing clients with professional marketing collateral, successful advertising study recruitment campaigns, management of recruitment budgets, producing vlog and podcasts, website assessment and design, and overall marketing strategy. With over 20 years of marketing experience in various fields, Amy has the background and creativity needed to provide your company with superior marketing services. She is certified in the Fundamentals of Digital Advertising, Google Search Ads, and Google Display ads. Amy specializes in creative ad designs, marketing collateral, vlog and podcast production, as well as branding.
Sarah Belanus
Marketing Content Specialist
Sarah's background in scientific research fostered her passion for enhancing the space where science and audience overlap. She combines her understanding of the clinical trial industry with marketing experience in SEO, website design, analytics reporting, brand strategy, designing collateral, copywriting and social media campaign management. She enjoys helping calibrate and scale the diverse marketing needs of scientific companies experiencing rapid growth. She is Google Analytics & Ads certified, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Masters in Business Administration.
